My name is Goldbrand, I am a paladin. For 6 months I was away from World of Warcraft, happily playing games like Dragon Age Origins and Torchlight. But, the evil slaver corporation named Blizzard didn't want to let go of me that easily. So what they did was lure me back with this offer.

At first I was a bit overwhelmed after not playing for 6 months, especially considering there has been 2 patches since the last time I played. But because I logged on a few days before New Year (that's when the 7 days offer will expire), the Winter's Veil season was on, so I decided to do a few seasonal quests to familiarize myself with WoW.

On 3rd September 2009, I finally got my Dominix!
My Dominix docked in a station.
That's a nice looking satellite.
Oops, my finger slipped and pressed the DESTROY button by accident.
Satellite gone!
The Dominix is a Battleship class that specializes in drones. It is the 2nd most powerful ship class in terms of firepower and hitpoints, and only the Capital Ship class is stronger.
For comparison, here is the list of ship classes from smallest to biggest:
Frigate -> Cruiser -> Battlecruiser -> Battleship -> Capital Ship
I got the Dominix for about 50 million ISK, which is not expensive compared to my Myrmidon which costed ab [ ... ] |

Last night, in EVE I was finally killed for the first time in PvP. And sadly, it had to be the first Myrmidon ship that I got.
The Myrmidon is a Battlecruiser class ship whose main strength is in it's Drones. It costed me about 30 million ISK (ISK is the currency of EVE). Drones are tiny unmanned robots that can have varying functions, such as fighting, repairing, and engaging in electronic warfare.

To give you an idea of the strength of the Myrmidon compared to other ship classes, here is the order of the ship classes from the weakest to the strongest:
